Agents Fee

When a property is sold in NSW the agents fee is normally charged as a percentage of the final selling price

Since 1993 agent's fees have been deregulated which means agents can charge a competitive fee which reflects both the value and the range of their services

As a result there are many cheap agents who provide very basic services. Prudential Real Estate is not the cheapest agent, however, we pride ourselves in delivering the best “value for money” service in the district.

Our team members are all fully-trained, experienced professionals who maintain their proficiency with regular training and skill development programs throughout the year. Their superior skill with buyers often means an additional $10,000 to $20,000 in the final sale price for our client's property.

Our fees vary according to the work you require from us and the level of contribution you make towards the cost of marketing your property. The sale of each property has to be assessed on a case-by-case basis to establish the level of work required to achieve the best result for you, our client.

In every case you will find our fees very flexible. More importantly, you'll find our service extremely good value for money.

Our fees are only payable when we sell your home. If, for some reason, you change your mind about selling, or if we are unable to find a buyer at a price that is acceptable to you, there is no fee charged. All fees are then payable on the day of settlement and come from the proceeds of the sale - don't worry, your conveyancer or solicitor will arrange everything for you.

Marketing Costs

There are only three things that will cause the sale of a property ...

1. A great agent who will work hard and in your best interests

2. A correctly priced property

3. Sufficient marketing to drive buyers to your property and to make your home stand out from the crowd.

Some of our clients choose to take the option of additional marketing. These "extras" can include virtual tours, interactive floor plans, inclusion in our "Hot Properties" email alert and various levels of advertising in both the local paper and on selected websites. Additional marketing is charged to our clients at cost and are usually paid separately from our professional fees.

Your Prudential Real Estate representative will cover these options with you when you meet.

Legal Fees

Over the years we have worked with every firm in the local area on many occasions. Although they all do a commendable job for their clients there a few who we have found provide a superior level of service. For a list of our recommended solicitors and conveyancers click here.

Buying Again ?

There are several costs when buying again. These include Stamp Duty, Loan Establishment costs and Legal fees.
